One thing you might not know about me is that I’m a fairly talented artist*.
For those who have been reading my blog for a long time (hey, Mom!) you’ll remember when I was donating masterpieces in colored pencil to a website called FreeCrappyPortraits.com. It’s basically self-explanatory; you submit a photo and a short paragraph about yourself, and some stranger artistic genius draws your general likeness on a piece of paper. It gets sent back to you… eventually. There are no deadlines or guarantees. But hey, it’s free.
Well, after a brief hiatus, the site has been resurrected. And therefore, I’m back to work.
This is a preview of my most recent one. I say “preview” because I haven’t even submitted it yet.
If you visit their blog, you can see the photo(s) that were submitted, as well as the person’s email (which usually helps explain a lot). Here are the others I’ve done recently.
