Souvenirs

I love to buy jewelry when I travel.  It’s compact, so I don’t have to worry about it taking up a lot of space in my suitcase or home.  Plus, every time I wear it, I think back to that fun trip.

Here’s the jewelry I’ve picked up on my travels abroad:

The necklace and round wooden earrings are from Costa Rica.  I got them on the trip I wrote about here.  Each bead is made of a native Costa Rican hardwood.  The top left earrings are from Spain, and I bought the ones on the right in the straw market in the Bahamas.
Above:
1) A ring I got in the Dominican Republic when I was there with my mom on a mission trip.
2) A ring I got in Italy when I was there with my family in Nov. 2001
3) A bracelet given to me by the owners of a Chinese restaurant I ate at in Stuttgart, Germany
I’m wearing the necklace today.  I can’t wait to see what I’ll find on my next big trip!

I love how you staged these photo’s with household items. Especially the banana as a ring holder! Absolutely brilliant.

    That bracelet is gorgeous.
