Rosarito Part II

Yesterday I promised to share more pictures of the beautiful beach here.  Today, I’m back to keep my word!  My favorite thing about west coast beaches is the sunsets.  I don’t care how great the Hamptons is; this is one thing they’ll never have!

There’s about 1/2 a mile of beach that spans our community and some more rustic properties, seen below.  After seeing several other people running back and forth, I was inspired to give it a go yesterday.  It was challenging, but pleasant.

Here’s a better view of the other beach-front buildings.  Some of them are nice.  Others need some work.

We’re headed home late tonight, hoping for a short wait at the border.  While getting out of the U.S. is a breeze, getting back in can mean waiting for several hours at the border.  I was warned to lay off the liquids for several hours beforehand.  Wish us luck!  I can’t wait to come back.
