The end of baseball season is bittersweet. Traffic will be better and our neighborhood will be much quieter, but honestly I’ll miss all the commotion. To close out the season, Jason and I went to the Saturday night game- the second to last of the year.
Usually we get seats but this time we decided to sit on the grassy hill in the outfield. We laid down a blanket and picnicked while we watched the Padres cream the Giants. It was such a blowout that we left in the 7th inning. But I was glad we went. It was a much cheaper alternative to our usual fancy dinner dates and a fun change of pace. You know what they say about variety, right?
