Happy Thanksgiving! I’m in Indiana spending the day with my future in-laws and in light of the occasion, I thought it’d be fun to dedicate this post to some of the things I’m grateful for.
My family, full of amazing people who are always there to support me through thick and thin. This was an especially exciting year for us, as we welcomed the first member of our next generation. I’m beyond smitten with the little guy.
My fiancé, who is the love of my life and my best friend. The past year has been a wild and crazy ride, but I couldn’t dream of a better companion.
My health, which is so often taken for granted until it’s too late.
Travel opportunities, which have abounded this year. I’m a girl with a lot of hobbies, but travel is one of my greatest passions. I’ve jet-setted a ton this year, with one of the most exciting trips still on the horizon!
My freedom, for which I thank the troops, our forefathers, and myself. Yeah, myself: so often we enslave ourselves to things like debt, addiction, or fear. This year, I’m glad to be free in every sense of the word.
My horse, who is really only partially mine but brings a lot of joy to my life. On par with travel, I’ve always enjoyed being around horses and I’m so grateful that I’ve been able to rediscover this passion after a hiatus the past few years.
Living in San Diego. Perfect weather all year round, beautiful beaches, clean streets, friendly people, and so much to d0- could the place get any better? Well yeah, cost of living could go down a little bit, but as they say “you get what you pay for”.
Lastly, I’m thankful that Christmas is almost here. Let the
chaos holiday cheer begin!
